Grace can happen at a split second. I enjoy capturing the different disciplines of dance. Ballet, jazz, aerial, gymnastics and much more. These dancers are artists and athletes. When it comes to photographing dancers, it is a collaboration of the photographer and the professional dancer. I may look at the photograph and think it is beautiful. Every artist is his/her own worst critique. The leg maybe out of place, the toes are not pointed correctly. These are disciplines that take years of honing and they know what is the best position or pose. These are my favorite collaborations. I enjoy being a dance photographer!
