  • Drop off your film at Studio V or the front desk of DNA Galleries in The Plaza and also the front desk at Paseo Arts Association - please double check our hours to make sure you don’t need an appointment on the day you plan to stop by.

  • After developing and scanning is complete we will text you a Dropbox link where you can view and download your photos! Please be sure to download your photos in a timely manner as the link will expire after 2 weeks.

  • After receiving your Dropbox link, please reach out to Studio V with what size prints you would like and the file numbers of the photos you would like printed.

  • Studio V offers prints in a wide range of sizes:

  • Yes! We also sell them - we normally stock Fuji, Kodak Fun Saver, Kodak Power Flash, Kodak Sport, Fuji QuickSnap and Harman Black and White.

  • Yes - negatives will be sleeved and stored for pick up at STUDIO V!

  • The numbers (ex: 100, 400, 800, 3200) categorize the sensitivity of film to light. If you’re shooting in bright conditions, 100 or 400 would be ideal. If you’re shooting indoors or somewhere darker 800 or 3200 is best.

FILM LOVES LIGHT so make sure you’re exposing your film correctly - even in super dim conditions, 3200 would still still need some light to get ideal results.

The lower the number, the less grainy your film will be. The higher the number the grainier.

  • Color Film: Kodak Color Pluss 200, Kodak Ultramax 400

    Black & White: Kentmere 400

  • Treat your film like a living thing - not too hot, not too cold and try to avoid too much humidity!

For long term storage (~ 3 years) we keep our film in the fridge just to be safe.

  • Yes we do!

We will let you know that old film / expired film could turn out blank or if it does turn out, there will be some color shifts and grain. We are more than happy to try and give you the best results.

If they are blank, we do not charge you for the scanning. We will not charge you for work that does not need to be done!
